Position Summary

As a Systems Integration Analyst, this role will design and develop programs to move data between disparate enterprise systems. The position will require communication with external organizations to develop and maintain SFTP to assure data is securely sent and received. This position will extract, transform and load essential data files (ETL) from source files to destination and vice versa. Must be able to work independently and communicate effectively with the business. College degree is required, or at least three years of equivalent experience in healthcare.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, translate them into high-level system specifications, and design automated programs and scripts using modern scripting and automation tools to deliver efficient, accurate, and scalable solutions for system integration and data processing.
  • Adhere to Agile development, testing, and release processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams through Agile ceremonies like daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews to deliver quality solutions efficiently and iteratively. Monitor the execution of daily data transfer jobs and respond to failures and errors
  • Assist in the design and implementation of an enterprise-level data management strategy
  • Extensive hands-on experience with SQL, supporting database administration, performance tuning, and overall database management.
  • Manage servers and other applicable hardware and assure capacity and efficiency are meeting performance standards
  • Create ETL processes based on business requirements and maintain comprehensive records and logs of all ETL activities.
  • Automate processes for downloading, generating, and uploading files to file servers and databases, including managing secure data transfers via SFTP
  • Create Job Schedules to run and monitor processes
  • Install vendor software and upgrades in test and production environments including core applications and ancillary applications
  • Generate Batchload files for the business to load data to core system and ancillary applications
  • Process and manage healthcare EDI transactions (834, 837, 999, 277, etc.) using an EDI translator for accurate data exchange and integration. Perform system administration tasks, including system backups, mirroring, data refreshes, restores, and failover. Monitor and manage multiple servers including Data Warehouse ETL processes and maintain storage (files, databases) spaces.
  • Administer IP whitelisting for system integrations to enable secure connections with internal systems, external partners, and cloud services. Upgrade certificates for various software in test and production-
  • Monitor the execution of daily data transfer jobs and respond to failures and errors
  • Work with BA/PM to design process maps
  • Maintain technical documentation for both new and existing solutions.
  • Maintain a structured and organized codebase using version control repositories
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in designing, developing, and maintaining ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to move and transform data between source and target systems/databases. Skilled in handling large datasets, ensuring data quality and integrity, implementing error handling, and optimizing workflows for performance.
  • Extensive experience in SQL, T-SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and data integration tools, including Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SSRS, Crystal Reports, and EDI translation platforms. Skilled in designing, developing, and optimizing ETL workflows for system integration, data migration, and automated data synchronization across enterprise applications. Proficient in C#.NET and modern scripting and automation tools such as PowerShell and Python.
  • In-depth knowledge of MS-SQL Server components including stored procedures, tables, jobs, indexes, CTEs, functions and views
  • Experience with system administration tasks including backups, mirroring, restores, failover, and server monitoring for Data Warehouse and ETL environments.
  • Familiarity with claims processing and member management systems used in healthcare organizations, with an understanding of enrollment, eligibility, billing, and claims workflows.
  • Knowledge of EDI formats, HIPAA regulations, and healthcare data, including medical claims, eligibility and clinical information.
  • Possess good verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Three years of experience in related field

GOOD TO HAVE

  • Experience integrating external APIs into enterprise applications, including handling authentication, processing request/response data, and supporting system integration and automated data exchange.
  • Previous HealthCare Industry experience is a plus.
  • Experience with software package vendors.
  • Experience with SDLC in Agile environment.
  • Prior Experience as Database Administrator

Physical Requirements

  • Able to lift up to 30 pounds
  • Use proper body mechanics when handling equipment
  • Standing, walking and moving 50% of the day.
