Pay Scale : Between at $84,510/year– $110,261 /year

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. This pay scale is not a promise of a particular wage.

Position Summary

As a Data Reporting Analyst, this role will design and develop programs and reports in a Microsoft centric environment. Utilizing MS SQL, Access, and Excel, as well as SSIS and SSRS toolsets, this position will provide accurate end user information based on complex analysis. Must be able to work independently and communicate effectively with the business in a fast-paced environment.

Position Details

Primary Accountability:

  • Review, analyze and develop reports on a variety of projects
  • Support all departments in reaching their goals via analysis and information
  • Communicate the results of data analysis in written and verbal form to both I.T. and user departments
  • Maintain and acknowledge changes to databases (i.e. data warehouse) and perform updates as necessary to ensure accuracy
  • Respond timely to ad hoc query requests as needed
  • Interact daily with I.T. Director, I.T. staff, and user departments
  • In conjunction with I.T. operations, design packages for scheduled recurring jobs
  • Diagnose and correct errors as identified by the appropriate user/programmer/log.
  • Work with analysts on appropriate architecture and design of internally developed solutions
  • Maintains appropriate records, logs and reporting of support activities
  • Other duties as assigned by IT Director

Systems/Professional Development:

  • Maintains and develops professional skills through training (both company provided and self- directed), reading pertinent journals, manuals, and documentation, and participating in IT related organizations/user groups
  • Provides training and assistance to other IT staff and business users in order to develop/maintain in-house expertise among all staff

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of reporting analysis experience
  • Work with sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality
  • Proficient with MS SQL, SSIS ETL, SSRS, Crystal Reports, Access and Excel
  • Ability to use SQL and Excel to create pivot tables, graphs and charts
  • Knowledge of data warehouse principals, hierarchies and tools
  • Healthplan experience required
  • Ability to provide MS SQL database administration a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time and prioritize projects to meet deadlines
  • Possess good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to plan and work effectively

Physical Requirements

  • Able to lift up to 30 pounds
  • Use proper body mechanics when handling equipment
  • Standing, walking and moving 50% of the day.
